We Used to Be Strangers
We Used to Be Strangers is a podcast where I’m introducing you to South African women you need to know.
My name is Jazz and alongside my sister, Sam, we started Grub Club, a community where women of all ages, races and backgrounds connect around dinner tables. These women aren’t influencers or public figures. They’re the chef in your favourite restaurant, the single mom in your apartment block, the DJ at that night club; they’re the high court prosecutor, the housewife, the shisanyama owner down the street, the psychology major; they’re somebody’s grandmother.
They’re the type of women who were once just strangers and then changed our lives forever. So, put on your comfy pants, grab a snack and kick back, while I introduce you to the women you need to know.
